        Centre for Social Action is a central body consisting of different programs and activities for the development of community The Primary aim of this organization is to create consciousness of We rather than I and social awareness among the students.
       Youth is capable of bringing remarkable changes in social sphere. This organization gives golden opportunity to the students to work for the under privileged sections of our society and experience central problems of the down trodden people. Our centre also enhance dignity of Labour among the students.



National Service Scheme (N.S.S)
“BEST COLLEGE FOR NSS” Award by University of Mumbai (2010-2011)
        A special cell for N.S.S. of University of Mumbai for undertaking social activities. The motto of N.S.S is " NOT ME BUT YOU " By this we are creating the sense of social responsibility in the minds of students towards society.

Social Aspects of personality Development:
        A joint project of College and (NGO) in this program the students are sensitized to the social problems like the problems of senior citizen teaching to adivasi childerns cleanliness jalasanvardhan etc. This is implemented through various awareness programs.


Tree Plantation – Joint Activity has been done by NSS Unit of the College and Roha Municipal Corporation.
One Day Seminar on ‘Disaster Management’ – Jointly organized with Excel Indian Ltd., Dhatav – Roha at the College Conference Hall.

Blood Donation – With the help of District Civil Hospital, Alibag. Hemoglobin check-up - student participants = 300 Blood Collected = 50 Units

“Celebration of NSS Week” (24Sept.2011 to 2nd Oct, 2011) - In this week following activities were organized :-
Essay Competition
Poster Competition
Elocution Competition

‘Rally’ in the ‘Roha Urban Area ’ on the theme – ‘Save Girl Child’ Participants in this rally = 300 (Girls & Boys)

Nirmalya Collection – Ganesh Immersion and Drinking water facility - of Dhavir Palkhi (procession).


Educational Programs :
         The main objective of this programs is to help to the people of various stages of society through practical education br vivid education program to adivasi children.


Eligibility :
         All degree students are eligible to enroll as volunteers of this organization. A student Enrolled as a volunteer shoud in value in all the activities. It is compulsory that he/she must complete at least three years on different programs and a special camp of 07 days.


Certificate :
         Volunteer completing 240 hours (120+120) of regular social work in two consecutive years and completidng a special camp of 07 days will be issued a certificate from the N.S.S.cell. University of Mumbai, Benefits of 10 Grace Marks A volunteer completing the above conditions will be given 10 Grace Marks in each year As per the University of Mumbai norms.
CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT
        College focuses on the professional developments of students and suitable training is given to equip students to get an entry into the field of their choice, training program include special lectures by experts, organization of workshops, career counseling, training for group discussion and interviews. The Library facility offered by the College gives general information to students on higher studies are career opportunities in various organization . The center establishes close contact with industrial and business houses through regular news letters placement brochures and personal contacts. The campus recruitment programs and also organized The final year students who are looking for a career have to contact the chairman, center for career Guidance Placement and counseling for details. The students are expected to go through the notice board for placement news.

MPSC, UPSC, Banking and Other Competitive Exams Coaching Classes The College is conducting coaching for Competitive Exams at our College Campus. 40 Students have been enrolled for the coaching on regular basis.

GIS & RS :- (2nd June – 4th Oct, 2011) The ‘First Batch” of Certificate Course in Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing has been successfully completed the course from our campus in this academic year.
